The moments that I strive to capture are those that reflect the genuine interaction between individuals as they exist within the bounds of society, simultaneously embracing their own autonomy and right to traverse life's periphery. My images depict moments that are small enough to be overlooked, but may serve as pivotal moments in the shaping of the self. As an artist and educator, my work communicates the power of conscious observation, to pick up on and respond to human individuality and to bring awareness and sensitivity to our own personal subtleties in the hopes of discerning a sense of identity.
